Inocucor’s Technology Gains Momentum

By Don Marvin

As I was writing my first report to Inocucor shareholders this past week, I realized how much the Inocucor crew has accomplished during this past year. Recent events really do prove the power of Inocucor’s technology and give us confidence that our timing is right.

Last year at this time, Inocucor was just starting to develop a plan for introducing its first product, Garden Solution®, into the U.S. market. Today, Garden Solution is approved for sale as a soil amendment to farmers, greenhouse growers and home gardeners in 24 U.S. states.

Plans for our next-generation products are also gaining momentum. Our research collaboration program with McGill University, announced last fall, is going to deliver additional scientific insight on how Garden Solution and our next generation of products actually interact with the phyto-microbiome to produce increases in biomass and yield. We have also begun laboratory and greenhouse studies on several “super-nitrogen” fixation strains for soybean. This could lead to a new class of highly potent bio-fertilizers that have shown a remarkable ability to “fix nitrogen” in early plant studies.

And our partnership with Axter Agrosciences in Quebec will continue to expand and grow in the coming months. We expect to form additional commercial partnerships with other ag sector participants in the year ahead.

We have also added world-class talent to our Board to help guide the company. Jim Blome, President and CEO of Bayer CropScience, now serves as our Independent Chairman of the Board. Dr. Ted Crosbie, formerly of Monsanto and one of the world’s top figures in agronomic research and development, has also joined our Board.

What’s next for Inocucor? With an expanded U.S. sales team in place, we’ll be able to build our customer base for Garden Solution throughout the U.S. We’ll celebrate the completion of our new 10,000-square-foot headquarter offices, R&D laboratories and cGMP pilot production facility in the Technoparc Montreal. We will further position Inocucor as a “center of excellence” with the scientific community by reaching out to additional academic institutions to form collaborative relationships and recruiting additional members with diverse expertise to our Scientific Advisory Board.

Over the balance of 2015, we expect to complete a significant equity financing to fuel Inocucor’s ongoing growth and, just as important, we’ll continue to add talented staff to the Inocucor team.

We believe the future is bright for biological solutions for agriculture, and Inocucor’s place as a catalyst for the positive changes is secure. In the end, our work will help increase food security, the economic security of farmers and the health of our agricultural lands.

Inocucor Technologies Inc., based in Montreal, is an ag biotech company that develops sustainable biological products for agriculture targeting the phyto-microbiome—the seeds, plants, root systems and the soil surrounding them. Inocucor’s first-generation product, Garden Solution®, soon to be re-branded as Synergro, employs live microbes to actively improve the health of the entire phyto-microbiome. Its second product, Synergro Free and future generations of Inocucor products are powerful biological formulations for bio-stimulation, bio-fertility and bio-control targeting mainstream production agriculture.
