DONALD R. MARVIN, M.B.A.

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & DIRECTOR

Mr. Marvin has been a biotechnology entrepreneur and leader in the commercialization of new life sciences diagnostic and research technologies and products for more than 30 years.

Prior to joining Inocucor® Technologies, he was the president and CEO of Cairn Associates Inc., a biotechnology, life science and consumer products strategy development and financial advisory firm.

Most recently, Mr. Marvin was the president and CEO of IdentiGEN, Inc., a leading provider of DNA-based solutions to the agriculture and food industries. He was a co-founder of Nasdaq-traded Orchid BioSciences, a pioneer in human DNA identity testing, where he served as its chief operating officer, chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate development.

Previously, Mr. Marvin was president and CEO of Diatron Corporation, a biomedical company developing fluorescence-based instrument systems for the clinical diagnostics industry.

His expertise includes strategic planning, business development, technical administration and operations at PepsiCo, Abbott Laboratories and Bayer AG, as well as domestic and international marketing and sales for the clinical diagnostics subsidiary of Boehringer Ingelheim.

Mr. Marvin is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of building exceptional value for stakeholders at several life science and agri-food companies. Formerly New Jersey’s CFO of the year, he has raised over $350 million in both private and public financings and completed nearly a dozen M&A transactions for his former companies. Mr. Marvin has served on the boards of several public and privately held companies and currently serves on the board of MicroBiome Therapeutics, Inc.

He earned a B.S. in microbiology from Ohio State University and an M.B.A. in organizational behavior and finance from Iona College.

Margaret Bywater-Ekegärd, M.D., Ph.D.

Founder and Executive Vice President of Technology & Innovation

Dr. Bywater is a molecular pathologist with extensive experience in identifying and successfully commercializing proprietary technologies at several life science and biotechnology companies. Her extensive experience in creating global markets spans more than 30 years in senior management positions in Pharmacia, OncorMed, Perkin Elmer Corporation Applied BioSystems/PE GenScope and H3Pharma/DebioPharm.

Dr. Bywater’s unique knowledge of intellectual property portfolio management, quality product development and manufacturing has made her a leader in the identification and commercialization of new technologies.

She received her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in molecular pathology from the University of Uppsala Sweden and studied at Cambridge University, England.

Ananda Lynn Fitzsimmons

Founder, Vice President and Chief Brand Ambassador

Ms. Fitzsimmons is an out-of-the-box thinker and environmentalist who pushes the borders of traditional microbiology through new formulation discovery and artisanal process transfer. She developed the proprietary fermentation process that is the basis for Inocucor’s first microbial products.

A self-taught microbiologist, she has learned about soil ecology through 30 years of organic growing and experimentation with compost and herbal potions. Fitzsimmons is active in the permaculture and sustainability movements and speaks regularly at sustainable agriculture conferences in Canada and the U.S.

Fitzsimmons has experimented with natural biological processes in the lab, the field and the kitchen: fermenting vegetables, beer, yogurt, sourdough, tempeh and miso, as well as composts and herbal formulations for the garden.

She earned B.A. in education from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, and has an ability to make complex information easily understood by lay audiences.

Bryan Wallis, L.L.B., M.B.A.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Wallis has a strong background in finance, legal and business development with extensive experience in building successful, high-growth technology companies.

He was the Director of Finance, Legal and Administration for Cansolv Technologies Inc. until its acquisition by Shell Global Solutions B.V. His prior experience includes financial and market analysis for structured financings at the National Bank of Canada as well as serving as a lawyer at The Canam Manac Group /Malo Dansereau Avocats.

Mr. Wallis earned his law degree from l’École du Barreau/University of Sherbrooke and his M.B.A. in finance and strategy from the University of Montreal.

Jan Kral

Vice President of Sales

Mr. Kral has a unique ability to bridge the sales and R&D functions to open new markets for innovative products. He has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, most recently building business-to-business sales and managing distribution transactions at Bombardier, Montreal, Quebec.

Ramesh Murugesan, Ph.D.

Director, Process Development and Pilot Production

Dr. Murugesan completed his Ph.D. at McGill University’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in Montreal, where he worked with biological materials and fermentation to develop new products. Previously, he worked as a manufacturing executive with National Biscuit Industries Ltd. in Muscat, Oman, and quality control for ITC Ltd. (Foods Division) in Chennai, India. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University and a B.Tech. in Food Process Engineering from Tamilnadu Agricultural University, India.

Aaron Waltz, Ph.D.

Director of Field Trials and Nutrition

Dr. Waltz is an accomplished agronomist and agrotechnologist, with expertise in crop protection, plant breeding, transgenic traits and chemical manufacturing (adjuvants) with leading agriculture companies Exacto, Inc., DuPont Pioneer and American Cyanamid. During his nine years as a senior research manager at DuPont Pioneer, he led field evaluations and germplasm characterization for transgenic corn herbicide traits.

Dr. Waltz grew up in rural Nebraska, working on his uncle’s corn, soybean, and farrow-to-finish hog farm. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Agronomy and Horticulture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Fazli Mabood, Ph.D.

Manager, New Biological Entities

Dr. Mabood has more than 15 years’ experience in plant physiology and plant-microbe interactions, specializing in bio-fertilizers, bio-stimulants, bio-protection and identification of new biological entities. He was involved in independent studies at McGill University to verify biological effects of Inocucor’s first-generation product on bio-stimulation and bio-protection. His work at Inocucor focuses on development of its second- and third-generation products for bio-stimulation and bio-protection.

Dr. Mabood earned his Ph.D. at McGill University’s Department of Plant Sciences

Heather Copeland

Group Manager, Operations and Administration

Ms. Copeland has 20 years’ experience in international planning, human resources, and operations in the biotech, insurance, animal health and international real estate arenas.

Prior to joining Inocucor, she was Director of Marketing and Communications for Metis Companies, an executive benefits firm in Kansas. She also has worked in several countries as an international business consultant, advising new businesses on corporate formations, HR practices, intercultural diplomacy and moving internationally. She previously was Manager of Administration and Control at IdentiGEN North America in Lawrence, Kansas.

Ms. Copeland holds a B.A. in Russian and Eastern European Studies from the University of Missouri.

Jim Samaha C.P.A.

Corporate Controller

Mr. Samaha has vast experience in production of financial reports and maintenance of accounting records systems. He previously worked as the chief accountant and as an assistant Controller at 5N Plus, a leading producer of specialty metal and chemical products, and as the accountant for Transcontinental in the Media sector.

He earned his C.P.A. designation at the Hautes Études Commerciale of the University of Montreal, specializing in managerial accounting.
