DIRECTOR, REGULATORY AFFAIRS

SEPTEMBER 18, 2017

This position will help to develop, articulate, and implement solutions to the challenges facing Inocucor with the changing agricultural industry in the USA, Canada, Latin America and Western Europe. This position entails thoughtful leadership in designing solutions to policy, as well as rate and market design challenges facing the industry. This person will also need to provide effective advocacy in working with relevant stakeholders to implement those solutions via regulatory and legislative venues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have a MS/PhD in Life Sciences (Agronomy, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry) as well as a minimum of 10 years of experience working in Regulatory Affairs with microorganisms used for bio-agricultural and industrial applications. Candidates who have an existing network within Regulatory Authorities such as US EPA, USDA-APHIS, PMRA, Environmental and Climate Change Canada or Trade Associations and other industry groups preferred.

SALES MANAGER, PACIFIC NORTHWEST

AUGUST 30, 2017

The Area Sales Manager for Pacific Northwest will be responsible for sales activities from lead generation through after-the-sale / account support in the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing an agreed-upon sales and marketing plan, which will meet Inocucor’s goals of expanding the customer base in the Pacific Northwest territories.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. in Agronomy, Life Sciences, Horticulture, Agriculture or related field required. Minimum 5 years related field and business-to-business sales experience needed. Negotiation of distribution agreements, management of distribution agreements and conflict resolution at all levels required. Familiarity with high value vegetable and berry crop production is required as well as a good knowledge of local territory growers. Agronomy experience specific to supporting growers transitioning from conventional to organic farming with an emphasis on biorational products and farming methods would be an added plus. Travel up to 50%. Must live in Oregon, Washington or Idaho.

COMPENSATION

The salary range is commensurate with experience and competitive industry standards. In addition, this position is eligible for a sales incentive bonus plan. Reimbursement for use of personal vehicle and all associated expenses will be provided.

CANADA

SENIOR INDUSTRIAL MICROBIOLOGIST

OCTOBER 4, 2017

The Senior Industrial Microbiologist will carry out fermentation operations according to approved SOP, manage and maintain cGMP routines in manufacturing area and maintain clean rooms according to standards. Responsibilities will include setting up databases and internal routines to secure research and manufacturing microbial strains, conducting research and troubleshooting manufacturing issues related to microbiology, setting up SOPs for advanced microbiological testing procedures for better QC/QA routines, and compiling all QC/QA reports for each batch.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Master’s level degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology. Must have at least 6 years’ experience working under cGMP and GLP standard operating procedures, preferably with large/ pilot scale fermentation experience with handling biological materials, identification of microorganisms and fermentation procedures. A strong background & experience in fermentation is necessary. Needs to have good experience in designing optimization & scale up experiments using appropriate statistical methods. Must have experience in setting up SOPs for a microbiology laboratory, maintenance of equipment, administration of microbiology supplies and manufacturing operations. This position requires “hands on” experience and knowledge of cutting edge biotechnology equipment.

AREA SALES MANAGER - BRITISH COLUMBIA
