This position will help to develop, articulate, and implement solutions to the challenges facing Inocucor with the changing agricultural industry in the USA, Canada, Latin America and Western Europe. This position entails thoughtful leadership in designing solutions to policy, as well as rate and market design challenges facing the industry. This person will also need to provide effective advocacy in working with relevant stakeholders to implement those solutions via regulatory and legislative venues.
Candidates must have a MS/PhD in Life Sciences (Agronomy, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry) as well as a minimum of 10 years of experience working in Regulatory Affairs with microorganisms used for bio-agricultural and industrial applications. Candidates who have an existing network within Regulatory Authorities such as US EPA, USDA-APHIS, PMRA, Environmental and Climate Change Canada or Trade Associations and other industry groups preferred.
The Area Sales Manager for Pacific Northwest will be responsible for sales activities from lead generation through after-the-sale / account support in the Pacific Northwest. Responsibilities will include developing and implementing an agreed-upon sales and marketing plan, which will meet Inocucor’s goals of expanding the customer base in the Pacific Northwest territories.
B.S. in Agronomy, Life Sciences, Horticulture, Agriculture or related field required. Minimum 5 years related field and business-to-business sales experience needed. Negotiation of distribution agreements, management of distribution agreements and conflict resolution at all levels required. Familiarity with high value vegetable and berry crop production is required as well as a good knowledge of local territory growers. Agronomy experience specific to supporting growers transitioning from conventional to organic farming with an emphasis on biorational products and farming methods would be an added plus. Travel up to 50%. Must live in Oregon, Washington or Idaho.
The salary range is commensurate with experience and competitive industry standards. In addition, this position is eligible for a sales incentive bonus plan. Reimbursement for use of personal vehicle and all associated expenses will be provided.
