INSPIRED BY BIOLOGY’S POTENTIAL TO TRANSFORM AGRICULTURE

As one of the first companies to commercialize specialty biological products for growers, we continue to be inspired by the potential of these sustainable crop inputs to improve farm productivity and restore the world’s farmlands.

Inocucor’s story began in 2007, when our co-founders–one an esteemed molecular pathologist and medical doctor, the other an accomplished organic gardener–began experimenting with fermentation as a tool for creating powerful biological products that would bring more sustainable practices to the world’s farms.

Dr. Margaret Bywater–Ekegärd and Ananda Lynn Fitzsimmons reasoned that mixed communities of microbes that naturally occur in the soil could be isolated and combined to naturally improve the growing environment for food, fuel and fiber crops.

Their research led to the development of Inocucor’s proprietary patented fermentation platform that is the basis for our powerful microbial crop inputs, which Inocucor first made commercially available in 2013.
